Blair Kooistra's internet home away from home

LAST UPDATED: thursday, september 22, 2005

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY, IAN KOOISTRA!

BORN wednesday july 14, 2004

OK. so it's been nearly a year since I updated this page. But, hey, we had Ian, and we moved to a new home and things got kinda crazy. Did I mention our new home didn't have high speed internet? THAT was the biggest drag of all. But, in mid-September, we returned to the 21st century, and are back on line at blazing speed. . . making me a bit more agreeable to uploading new stuff on the internet. So, here's a shot from Ian's first birthday, as older brother Eliot, ever the enquiring reporter, elicits a comment from his  younger brother, who is busy destroying a birthday cake. These boys are lots of fun--quite tiring at times, but amazing to be around.

Er, I just checked--this site was last updated exactly a year ago. . . time flies!  Onward, to the rest of the website (none of this stuff is new):

stuff. . .

a page on Northern Pacific's steel 50' boxcar fleet. . . .

the ever-popular pages on The Camas Prairie Railroad. . .

and my Dust In The Wind look at the Milwaukee Road's final days. . .

and of course, the Walla Walla Valley Railway website, which needs some serious updating. . .

Mary set up a photo gallery page on Ian, just as she did with eliot.  You've been warned.

And here's some photos from our trip to Chicago back in 2003. . .
